Ecological transition

Rhütten’s Green Journey, aligned with the European Green Deal and the new anti-greenwashing rules.
ESG, Carbon Footprint, Gender Equality, Plastic Mitigation.

The European Green Deal is steering the EU towards climate neutrality by 2050; the CSRD expands and structures sustainability reporting; the new EU rules against greenwashing (Directive 2024/825) raise the bar for transparency and verifiability of claims.

Our transition begins with a simple question: how much does every choice we make really weigh?
We started by measuring: ESG assessment and carbon footprint to identify where to reduce, improve, and offset. Then we chose to act where the impact is visible: in our products, in our packaging, and in our people.

Our main pillars

  • ESG Assessment & Carbon Footprint: measuring emissions and setting reduction priorities (with an evolving internal roadmap).
  • Plastic Mitigation with Ogyre: annual removal equivalent to the plastic of Fuliggi Stop bottles — about 12 tons per year as a target — with traceability and ocean stories that give a face to every kilogram recovered.
  • Gender Equality & Community: inclusive policies and KPIs (UNI/PdR 125:2022) and social initiatives in the local area.
  • Quality, Safety, Environment: certified systems supporting business continuity (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Digital Sustainability & Accessibility: new green and inclusive websites.

For us, transition also means governance: policies and KPIs on gender equality, safety, and quality, because results only last when supported by processes. Less impact, more coherence: a few things, done well, measured, and shared with clients and partners.
